Shift. Connect. Explore. Create. Empower. Expand.

Creative Flow for the Teen- Thursday’s at Piccolo Park (6/29. 7/6. 7/13)

Teen group (ages 13-17) 4:00pm-5:00pm

Creative Flow for the teen is a 3-week mini series workshop being offered by board certified and licensed art therapists Bari Langbaum and Amanda Zucker. The series is geared towards young people looking to come together in a creative and playful space. During the series, participants will play within the metaphor of what it means to work together and hold space for yourself in a supportive and mindful way. Take time to connect with other likeminded people, expand your creative practice and share your experience with others through art directives incorporating movement, poetry and art making.

Join me Friday, March 24, from 10-11:30am for some art making and restorative yoga while sharing space with other wonderful moms in a nonjudgemental and safe space. All levels and no levels of experience in art making or yoga necessary at all.

Host: Bari Michele Langbaum, ATR-BC, LCAT, LPC

Fee: $20 preregistration, $25 drop in (if space allows)

Studies have proven that self-care through movement and art making lifts mood, increases energy level and provides a greater sense of awareness and compassion for self and others. Through exploration of art materials and restorative yoga poses, this group will help you to reconnect, feel lighter, more supported and most of all, nurtured from within.
